Philip Taylor is the drummer & singer of touring band James Blonde. Having discovered his passion for music in childhood, thanks to his dad’s record collection and love of classic rock, Phil became obsessed with drumming. He started his musical journey in the Niagara Symphony youth summer program, learning all the basics of percussion, and subsequently taught himself to play the drum-set, which has become his full-time career, playing drums & writing music with his band all over North America. His love of The Beatles started on car-rides with the family, where The Beatles “ONE” was on repeat in the car CD player.
